As a general rule, I try not to be too hard on the 'is it coffee or is it breakfast dessert' crowd. I, too, much prefer this form of caffeine with a little cream and sugar. That being said, there is a line that is easily crossed and nowhere showcases this better than your average chain coffee place. The American general public have some truly wild ideas about what constitutes a cup of joe.

If you need proof of this, then look no further than the TikTok account of one long-suffering Dunkin' employee. Revealing to the world all of the craziest orders she makes, it seems like most of her customers are running on a sugar buzz as opposed to a coffee one. It's fair to say that her viewers are horrified at this state of affairs. It cannot do good things to your body to be consuming that much syrup every day.
